i’ve always been a seeker ·

one drawn to any practices that allowed me to explore my inner world and rediscover who I truly am. the beauty of all that is yoga and various other holistic practices found me early on when i was in college, but i often found myself practicing alone in the comfort of my four walls. 

it wasn’t until suffering from debilitating anxiety, depression, panic attacks and physical manifestations of stress several years later that i decided to step foot inside an actual studio, and quickly experienced the healing power of community practicing together.

something about all of us collectively trying to understand our uniquely beautiful, messy humanness through ancient wisdom, movement, breath, stillness and shared insight offered me a soft space to remember the fullness of myself and all that life has to offer.

i would frequently wonder - why is it that we wait so long to listen to the needs of our body, mind and soul? when did stress, overwhelm and burnout to the point of illness in pursuit of externally driven desires become the more common path to take? 

I had ignored my inner whispers for so long out of fear, doubt, and opinions of others which eventually forced me to pause a life i once had, and begin to live in a different way. and i knew i wasn’t alone. so when the call to help others tap into their own innate resources grew stronger, i no longer deny it.
